Called for fish and chips whilst travelling the coastline and selected this venue as the queue outside suggested it might be the best of the ones on the seafront. We were not wrong. Would usually go for haddock but only cod was being offered but wow was it good? Very fresh, white and flaky cod in good, crispy batter and dry and crispy chips. Despite the web site and Facebook and physically saying the doir The galley was open on Wednesday 04 10 23 I drive 12 miles there and 12 miles back only find it was in fact closed. And whilst I parked 2 other people one who had driven from waterfoot were always disappointed to find it close . The Galley in Carnlough does the best Fish and Chips in the whole North of Irelandregularly take a drive from Belfast to Carnlough just to go to The Galley then sit by the water and enjoy the best fish and chips ever
Absolutely first class food and staff special I Don't have to say anymore go and try
Staff are plight and pleasant, The food is very good, so every time when going along the coast road we end up getting a first class fish supper.
On a lovely day out with family. Stopped for fish and chips. Firstly staff ! Girl serving us was so friendly and helpful.. food was excellent.. we all really enjoyed it..will definitely go back for more..
Glad to have a chippy to get our food in Carnlough. The batter was soft but apart from this the chips and curry sauce were excellent
