It's a lovely spot for coffee or lunch. I come here frequently and always find the staff to be friendly and attentive. The lunch menu is diverse, and the food is delightful. To top it all off, there's a stunning view of the sea. View all feedback.

What a delightful hidden gem this wonderful little coffee shop is! The café is fabulous, with very friendly and helpful staff. The afternoon coffee was fantastic, and there was a great selection, including gluten-free options. The location is brilliant, offering a perfect sea view, making it ideal for those who enjoy a beautiful walk along the shore. We had no idea the café existed until a friend recommended it. To find it, you can either follow your GPS or look for signs leading to the Free Time Centre in Larne Park, where the café is located right next to the sea as part of the centre’s building. We look forward to trying lunch there in a few days, as well as the special 'night tea' served in the Old Porch (which requires booking 24 hours in advance, but that’s no trouble). They even mentioned they could prepare a special gluten-free option, which is fantastic. It’s a great spot in Larne and definitely worth a visit!
It's definitely the simple things in life that make an impact. I was invited to join a day trip with a dementia group and thought, “Why not?” What a pleasant surprise it turned out to be! I expected a typical bus outing with a basic menu, but Louise Magill and Trisha Small had something much more delightful planned for us. We were treated like celebrities for the day! We traveled in a luxurious mini bus to The Prom Café in Carrickfergus, then enjoyed a fantastic lunch at The Bank House in Whitehead. To top it all off, we were taken to Ballygally Castle for gin and tonic. It was truly a memorable experience!
Fantastic personal, very friendly good customer service great eating and always great for the catch with friends and bring family and people who have never been to the prom caffe.
Hands down theeeee best eaterie in Larne area. Food is always great, atmosphere great and above all service is always outstanding! This is the type of place that goes the extra mile for their customers and that's why they keep them! Something special here and it's definitely my happy place! If you've not been get in and visit Louise and her lovely team of staff!
