What Meg McCroft doesn't like about The Spur Of The Moment:
This is a great pace for a quick beer or wine, friendly and knowledgeable staff. I think they need more servers, more selection of wine and beer, and better seating arrangements. The atmosphere needs work, if they had karaoke on Fridays/Saturdays would be the best! Something else to do there. Also adding vegetarian options would be awesome too. Food is great and portions are big. Some of the best burgers I have ever had.
Absolutely phenomenal service and food. My mother and I stopped here after the Colorado renaissance festival and it was such a great experience for us. Highly recommend.
Would definitely recommend even have a outside dining area were you can have your dog with you
Really struggled with the prime rib dinner. I've seen my hubby eat frozen Steak Umms (so gross, lol) with more enthusiasm than he had for his prime rib... And he left half of his serving on his plate, which is something he never does. We've had the ribs here and they were great. Good burgers, chile cheese fries and such, but the prime rib Friday night special was not good. Even the baked potato was under done. My husband doesn't even like vegetables as a general rule, yet said his salad was the best part of his meal. My recommendation for anyone reading this who serves a prime rib .. go to Dukes Steakhouse in Castle Pines. One of the best prime ribs anywhere around, especially given the price. Try that then figure out what they're doing and copy that! All that said, the service here is phenomenal!
One of my most favorite places to go at the end of a long weekend.
