Set in the historic Quarry Street in Hamilton, Scotland, D'Nisi is an independent Scottish coffee chain that specialises in in-store roasted coffee. It's clean and well kept, the staff are friendly and courteous, the coffee, (there's a choice of blends), is excellent and the full breakfast very good and well priced. Definitely worth a visit. Sadly a poor experience. French toast took 30 minutes to arrive and was dry, had very little egg and no detectable cinamon and did not include maple syrup as per the menu but golden syrup. The cappuccino was very good. The so called summer fruits smoothie was strawberry and a terrible artificial concoction with no hint of real fruit. While service was friendly it was, all in all, an overpriced, disapointing experienc... View all feedback.
So disappointed today. Went in for some lunch with my daughter today. First of all the girl who was making the food was really doing the job of both girls. The one serving was worse than hopeless. Sorry. It it is true. My points card was not working and she did apologise when she handed it back and said it isn't the card it is our machine and it happens loads of times so I questioned it as I was not going get my points so the girl who was cooking sorted it for me which I so appreciated. Then we get our lunch and I am still waiting for a Pink Lemonade so I goes up to the girl who is taking the orders and she replies so sorry I will get it for you.. 15mins later no drink amd my lunch was finished so my daughter went up to ask for it again so sorry and then the drink appeared.. It was disgusting to say the least 2 small pieces of ice in the drink... It was too sweet. It was not made properly....Please put more staff on or retrain the girl who serves as the girl who is doing the cooking should not have to carry the servers work load too.
I am surprised that this cafe has so many good reviews .. maybe they do lovely coffee and cakes scones, but the food wasn 't the best, and very overpriced .. we got 3 bowls of soup with crusty bread and a tuna toastie, plus 4 cokes .. £32 quid .. my daughter didn 't eat her lentil soup and when I took a taste I understood why .. the lentils were under cooked and the soup was overseasoned .. on top of this, the lady on shift lectured us for our choice of seats because we sat at a dirty table and that the tables should be disinfected prior to being sat at .. how uncomfortable and not good customer service at all ! Its not the customers job to ensure tables are disinfected, we are all triple vaccinated and can make our own choices on where to sit in a cafe! .. seating is also extremely cramped .. we will not be returning and I 'm so annoyed that I 'm £32 quid out of pocket for what we experienced this is not a high end cafe, however it 's trying to give off that kinda vibe ... pity the food, arm leg space and customer service don 't match the prestigious decor ...
Lovely little cafe. Fantastic atmosphere very aesthetic. Great selection of cakes and drinks. Bonus points for outdoor seating in the sun

Ordered a flat white. Very over extracted. Tasted bitter acidic and earthy way over extracted didn't drink it and binned it. The food is lovely but barista need to improve coffee extraction perhaps the machines are needing a slight adjustment to the grind either too fine or course.
