The best bagels in Pinellas! They're made authentically, and as a self-proclaimed snobby New Yorker, I can confidently say they know what they're doing.

The jumbo bagels here are fantastic—definitely not the flimsy ones you find at bagel chains. Whenever I have the chance, I make it a point to start my day at Stew's House of Bagels on the corner of Ulmerton and Belcher.

They also offer a fantastic pretzel. I highly recommend checking them out!

Absolutely the best bagels in Tampa Bay! The bagels at Stew's House of Bagels are amazing! They are made fresh every day. My favorite is the everything bagel with plain cream cheese—so delicious!

**ATMOSPHERE** When your name focuses on “bagels,” you better deliver, and Stu’s does not disappoint! The display case showcasing their various bagel types occupies three-quarters of the counter space. Get close and take in the delicious, bready aroma of the place. Keep in mind they have a minimum purchase for credit card transactions—so grab your order quickly and head out, as there are no tables or chairs inside. **FOOD** The bagels are wonderfully soft on the inside with a chewy crust, so toasting is unnecessary. They offer at least a dozen varieties, including “small” bagels, which I haven’t tried yet. I’ve sampled several spreads from their impressive selection of two dozen, and each one has a smooth, creamy taste with a very light, whipped texture that feels homemade. This spot specializes in bagels and spreads—don’t expect anything beyond that. Their drink options are limited, and the coffee is just okay. **SERVICE** You might find yourself waiting in a conga line! Stu seems to know his regular customers and has a cheerful demeanor. Overall, this place is a fantastic discovery.
