Philly's Famous Cheesesteaks - Largo

Friendly and tasty place. Huge Philly cheesesteak with sweet onions. Excellent beef quality and seasoning. Top it off with large root beer. Under 15. Everyone was so nice, will be back.

Horrible cheesesteak. I'm not from California. I live in Largo FL.... I visited this location a couple weeks ago and it was absolutely terrible.

Years ago Philly’s was a great spot for food in largo. The past few years I’ve tried them a few different times and was let down each and every time. Probably the most flavorless cheesesteak I’ve ever eaten. First and foremost, do not put canned mushrooms on a cheesesteak. The flavor of the sandwich was ruined when all you can taste is canned mushrooms. I couldn’t even taste the onion or peppers which also looked canned and not cut fresh. Also to not offer American cheese as an option is not good practice for a cheesesteak business. For the record Westshore pizza makes a better Philly steak than “Phillies famous”. I will not be returning with my business.

Thought that the owner was from Philly. The cheese steak did not come with cheese wiz but some type of white cheese. Also the meat was bland. French fries were over cooked or the oil was old. Or both. Meh. Parking: Big lot next to Aldi

This place rules! Best true philly cheesesteak around! The bread is top notch and the sides are pretty darn good too! Jalapeño poppers are fire?
