The best bakery I've ever been to. The flavors are spot on ! I thought it was a little pricey however I don't mind paying more if the flavor is there. We tasted quite a few things and I only had 1 thing I didn't like. That was their Sugar Cookies. There was no sweetness or flavor in that cookie. I sure loved everything else! Worth the drive! What Solid Snake doesn't like about Frida's Cafe:
There is no option to add a gratuity when paying with a card? 90% of your customers probably don’t tip anything because of that, and thats a DESPICABLE thing to do to your employees View all feedback.
WOW!!! I am a pastry and baked goods connoisseur, I literally go out of my way to find quality baked goods...(did I mention I'm pregnant lol) and this place blew my mind both my first and second trip. The absolute best danishes I've ever had!!! Ever!! Including my time in Europe. This place is AMAZING in the pastry department. I've yet to have any savory food but have tried a wide variety of their baked goods and all of it is so delightful. And it's so awesome that they offer gluten free goods so mg friend with celiac can still indulge which is a rare treat for her since moving to FL. Can't wait to go back and try something different.
Ordered a full sheet of fruit torte for over 100 people, no plate in the room had leftover cake on the plate, and everyone raved about it and asked where it was from. 2nd year in a row. Best cake in Tampa Bay. :
It was my 52nd birthday and I wanted a real cake (not a grocery store cake) when I got off work. I pulled up yelp and searched “Cake” and found this yummy place! I had the BLT w/bacon grilled cheese and Joey had the Steak and Cheese Penni. They were both great. Got 3 mini deserts to go too.
This place is awesome! The food is very good and fresh ......something you won’t get anywhere else around town! Summertime Salad and The Chocolate Suicide cake are my favs!!
I stop by Frida's a few times every year. It's a hidden gem in the Largo area, a cool little place with delicious, fresh food and baked goods!
