Lira's - Laredo

In an area where McDonald's is getting 5 stars, temper your expectations for the highest rated Mexican restaurant...puro Laredo. This is a breakfast spot with a simple menu, but they offer smoothies (ice, milk, and fruit)! It seems that everything comes with barbacoa (cheek meat). Bi-lingual staff...or at least I assume bi-lingual because we communicated in Spanish.

Terrible service. We walked out. They weren’t friendly to customers that dont speak english.

Don't buy menudo during the week or after 1 ... I bought a large one and got mostly hominy and very little meat .. large is supposed to have pata ... Very disappointed . Half was mostly liquid

Ask where is ramp he said city of Laredo does not require one i said mmmmm, what no ramp ,my friend help me with wheelchair an also help seniors with walker to get in W hat no ramp !!! Hello no handicap rights never again will I visit this place it was bad ..... Every establishment for dining in need one

Decided to stop for breakfast. Ordered 3 Barbacoa Tacos and a small menu tray. If you observe your sodium supply, I do not recommend. But since the salt doesn't matter, let me just say it was very delicious.
