At one point, the manager had our waite... read more I was there a few days ago around 3pm to give this place a 2nd chance. Absolute worst service I've ever witnessed, ever. At one point, the manager had our waiter with other people at a corner table holding up a clipboard for a meeting. It was as if thecustomers didn't exist. The spaghetti squash had no flavor to a point where I thought I had covid and lost my tastebuds. Also, they don't disclose on their menu that their strawberry shortcake isn't actually cake (I can't make this up). It'smade of ice cream, which is terribly misleading. Some advice: either fix your food AND service, or do everyone a favor a closedown so they can construct something more useful in the space you rent, like a puddle of mud or a place for trucks to plow dirtysnow into during the winter. What a giant joke of a restaurant.

The flour-less choco... read more I recently visited Chat 19 and tried the carrot/ginger soup and white onion soup, both served with warm crusty bread, which were excellent. The flour-less chocolate cake was light and delicious, and the espresso was perfect. The only disappointing dish was the grilled portabello and pepper salad, which lacked seasoning and had too much vinegar. The atmosphere on Friday night was cheerful, with many families and well-behaved children. As the night went on, more couples on dates joined the crowd. The restaurant is decorated with jumbo-sized photos of old Hollywood superstars from the 1930s to the 1950s, adding to the charm of the place. I will definitely come back again.
