The setting is wonderful and I enjoyed the ice cream. The reason for my rating is a rude and inflexible attitude from the owner/worker. Having purchased ice cream multiple days in a row and little flexibility to a request would not have gone amiss.

Best ice cream for miles! Been coming here every summer for years, never disappoints. Amazing selection of ice cream and drinks, good prices and always good service. The view is pretty wonderful too, definitely sit out on the balcony! Little gem of a place.

We’ve been visiting the region for years and return every summer to this amazing gem in Aubeterre! There’s a huge range of wonderful flavours to choose from and very reasonably priced. What makes this place so special is the view from the balcony which is stunning. Highly recommend!

We visited on the recommendation of a waiter who had served us at a restaurant in the main square. They have an extensive selection including some locally influenced flavours such as cognac, cassis and melon. All six of us sat on the wooden balcony overlooking the river as we enjoyed our treats. We would definitely recommend, and return to, this place.
