Lake Inn - Lapeer

Wow, where do I start? I came to Burton to meet my uncle. My aunt died recently and I wanted to hang out with him. Lake Inn was one of his favorite places to go. It was my second time to come here. But apparently he's been coming here for years and golfing around the golf course, and he told me about the add-on and how small this place was. So I went with the fish and chips. I forget what my uncle got, but he said it was good that it was something special. My fish and chips were delicious. Our server was quite brilliant. I'm sorry I don't give her a shout at the moment because she was brilliant, and she treated my 85-year-old uncle like a charm. This place is fantastic good food, great atmosphere. You should check it. And maybe golf on the grounds from here.

We had the halibut and it was excellent! The french onion soup we had was very good too, we were not happy with the mussels we had for a appetizer they seemed to be over cooked and were chewy. We won't have the mussels again. The staff was great very friendly and helpful. Overall we would recommend this restaurant to are friends and family!!

Lake Inn is a rare gem of a restaurant. Every dish I've tried has been outstanding. The shrimp and lobster fettuccine is a must-try, and their breadsticks are also exceptional! The establishment operates like a well-oiled machine. The bar is spacious, and the bartender is extremely knowledgeable. The view of the lake adds to the dining experience. However, be prepared for a bit of a wait during peak hours. If possible, I suggest arriving before 5:00 PM. Overall, a fantastic dining experience!

This restaurant exudes charming Michigan vibes in a family-friendly, home-like setting by the shores of Lake Nepessing. I ordered the Baked Spaghetti accompanied by a dinner salad, and it was fantastic. The portion was generous, topped with a rich, flavorful sauce and a delicious layer of melted cheese. The salad was fresh and vibrant, making for a delightful addition to the meal. Every visit here offers a unique and completely different experience, transforming from a sports bar to a tropical paradise. It’s definitely worth a visit!
