Tried Popeyes again after a year of abstaining, no real improvements in the food. The order was efficient, timely, and hot. However the staff were entirely too loud behind the counter with their personal yackety- Yack! View all feedback.

Yes... sometimes I need a little Popeyes in my life. That chicken sandwich is ridiculously good! And the sides ?... yeahhhh... if you know, you know!
Popeyes sent me a deal in my email for buy 6 wings and get a second 6 wings for $1. I ordered and the wings were old and bruised. I called the popeyes literally 8 times from the number on my receipt which is a Rockford number but to no avail no one answered the phone.I didn't take the food back the same day I took it back the next day because of the distance. When I enter the store the staff at the front was stretching and yawning and didnt speak but did ask how can he help. I asked for a manager and when the manager came to address me he also did not say hello and his countenance was very drab nor did he ask how can he help me. So I told him about me calling the store multiple times with no answer at all and questioned was the number on the receipt the correct number and he said yes and that's all. Then I showed him my food from the day before cuz I didn't eat none of it and he looked at and asked for my receipt. Never addressed the issue of my complaint and said to me how much I paid for the food and thst He could give me something comparable or replaced the wings never offered a refund or an apology for any of my disdain of the food or service at this popeyes. I was hungry so I chose to eat tenders instead of the Buffalo wings. His staff at the front desk made the order and the manager handed me my food with a unempathetic thank you still with no apology. I left without getting either of their names because I was so ready to leave that place and never go back. This is one of the poorest customer service I've ever recieved. Hated it!
If only the service matched the taste of the food. It is very disappointing to place an order, pay for, and then get home only to find that half your meal that you paid for is missing. There is a KFC a few blocks down the road that is equally poor at getting drive thru orders correct. Buyer be ware and check every part of your order before you leave the location. I even had an order screwed up that I went inside the store to order! Ridiculous.
Help was nice. Cashier jelpful Food just as should be. No drink lids. Self serve section (drink area, condiments) not stocked even though was slow for our whole visit.
