The ordering process was unclear, as all the dishes arrived at the same time, which is unusual for Western dining. I expected my food to be hot, but it was actually served cold until I finished it. I understand this might be a cultural difference, but it would have been nice to have been asked if I preferred separate courses. Okay.. one thing i love about this particular branch is the service.... all their stuff are College degree holders hence better grasp at orders, what customers'need and the right amount of courtesy
While trying to dine in Laoag I requested some Kamote fries as a substitute or ale carte (side order) and the servers said it was not allowed. I then requested to speak with the manager. I was told that the manager does not come downstairs to speak with customers. I consider this poor customer service.
This branch has very poor service. Not up to par with the usual service you get with Max's. Our food took more than 30 mins to get served. They did not give us plates until we requested for them. And we ordered something which they said was out of stock, lo and behold, I saw that viand come out of the kitchen after 1 hour (for another table).
They need to improve their customer service. Bad experience.
Be aware of their annual all-you-can-eat chicken event! I had a great time here with my sibling during the competitive eaters' annual gathering.
