Contribute Feedback What brusselei doesn't like about Le Cabanon:
We (family with kids) went there because of the reviews on tripadvisor and we were advised by the the B&B owner. Settings were super. Food not so as we thought. Oysters were not very nice (we ate them in other settings and they were much better). My son ate tuna fish whick was overdone. Sorry I was disappointed. View all feedback.

Don 't expect customer service nor respect if you choose this restaurant. I encourage you to spend your money supporting a business which upholds the integrity most other service employees lead by. In this little town there are not many restaurants to choose from. Staying close by on vacation with a group of friends, we decided on this one for dinner one night. During my friend 's routine trip to the boulangerie one AM, he stopped in this restaurant and made a reservation for us that evening. He spoke to the woman with short blond hair, who he watched pencil in the reservation. When he came back he let the rest of us know but did say she was quite rude, that of which I didn 't get the details but was thinking, why go there if bad impression right off the bat? Should have listened to myself. At 8pm we arrived and were seated. We were waiting for the last 2 of our friends to arrive, incl. the one that made the reservation. After about 15-20mins at the table a waitress still no apéro served.... asks us the name the reservation was booked under, a large family trailing along side of her. Seemingly our name wasn 't in her reservation book and we were occupying another parties ' table. As we were giving the two possible names so she could look, the 'rude blond woman ' sidles up, and without knowing the names, asking us a question, nor greeting us even firmly says no she never took a reservation for us and stands there glaring at us,shaking her head no with pursed lips while the waitress fumbled around with the book. We explain to the blond woman that our friend who we were waiting for had personally come in that morning to make the reservation and that she took it. He would be arriving shortly and she could hopefully recognize him. I do know he went to that restaurant, as other people were in the car waiting for him while he went in . She declined any knowledge of this happening and was just overtly rude and dismissive of what we were trying to say, so much so that it turned into us feeling attacked by her. Instead of continuing to argue, we got up so the other people could sit down as they had a cake etc. It was the manner in which she treated us that was inadmissible. I can 't condone any business in which owners/managers treat customers this way. It was now 8:50pm and we had children with us, and as most know who are familiar with dining in france, reservations are typically required, esp for large parties on weekends! so we were close to being SOL in that little town but thankfully we found a welcoming restaurant a few paces away. Interestingly enough that owner shared a very poor experience his friend just had at Le Cabanon. The waitress dropped an espresso over a customer, no apology from waitress nor blond woman, and the blond woman charged the customer for the espresso and wouldn 't give another to replace the one THE WAITRESS dropped. So we aren 't the only people who have been mistreated by the shoddy customer service. Lack thereof really.
