The chicken and waffles were fantastic! I had never tried sweet potato waffles before, and they were really interesting. The chicken was cooked to perfection. The mimosa was wonderful too. My husband claimed it was the best biscuits and gravy he's ever had! We will definitely come back to try dinner! View all feedback.

However, I have to mention a couple of drawbacks: we were told there would be a 30-45 minute wait, but it ended up being over an hour. Additionally, the music inside seemed to create a constant struggle against the noise from people trying to converse. Improving sound insulation in the ceiling or lowering the volume of the music during busy times would make a big difference. Despite these issues, the atmosphere and the food were still fantastic.
I wanted to be here too long. I wish I would come more because it was excellent! Brunch on Saturday was lively, but we somehow took it right and there was no waiting time. Had the Benny (and the jets) : braided short rib, fried egg, brioche, Hollandaise and bacon jam. It was full of taste and delicious! Service was also friendly, and the room was eclectic and cool. I'm looking forward to my next visit.
The folk cuisine is a great place in Lansing. The food was made from scratch and it was really shown in quality. We stayed here on the way to Detroit and ate from the Happy Hour menu limited options, but we both had really great meals. The atmosphere was very family and the staff was welcoming. The Margarita was great and there was a great beer selection. We will look for ways to come back in the future!
Definitely worth checking out! Brunch tasted great! Service was super fast, even though they were slammed on a Saturday morning-we got right in and seated. The decor is unique, and the atmosphere is fun. Lots of stuff to look at and take in. The pork belly was delicious! My husband had the Have to have it hash and I had the Crushin it. We would both come back- for sure!
