I hesitate to write a review because I believe this bar is one of Downtown Lansing's best-kept secrets! But joking aside, everyone deserves a chance to experience it, and...
I found myself wandering in Lansing when I came across a sign for the oldest bar in the area, so I decided to turn around and give it a visit. The parking lot is spacious, and the staff is very friendly.
This is a unique spot with welcoming staff, generous drink servings, and great entertainment options like a jukebox and shuffleboard. What more could you ask for?
A great place with a great atmosphere
Not sure what the issue was. But your bouncer started talking to me in a negative way and told me he felt I shouldn’t be there. Put his hands on me, starting issues with your customers isn’t the way to go. I was sitting at a table and got up just walking around, your bouncer made a comment about how he wasn’t sure if I should be there… didn’t do anything to anything to him or anything to the bar or customers. Wasn’t being violent or anything? I’m confused what the issue was outside of me trying to play around with the bouncer cause I genuinely was being cool and trying to respond positively. In the areas often and I won’t be giving my business to this company again. Your bouncer is on a power trip. I’m highly convinced this is due to my race and that’s weird. Do better.
