Flap Jack - Lansing
Flap Jack
Description
**Dining Experience at a Local Breakfast Spot: A Mixed Bag**
At this local breakfast spot, patrons experience a blend of delight and disappointment. While the generous portions of flapjacks and omelets earn praise, the quality of food varies significantly, with some dishes described as bland and greasy. Customer service, however, consistently shines, with attentive staff making diners feel welcome. Despite limited beverage options and reports of burnt coffee, several guests rave about the pleasant atmosphere and reasonable prices. Although some recommend alternatives for a more satisfying meal, the warm service and hearty portions may appeal to those looking for comfort food.

Great place! Went here alone while on a camping trip bc I was desperate for an omelet. The omelet was massive and delicious, got a side of good pancakes, and the waitress was super sweet.Vegetarian options: Made my own omelet
My dad wanted to go here for breakfast. We were staying in Lansing due to my mom having surgery. He had been here several times and loved it. I reluctantly said let’s try it, especially when I was a little hesitant after reading sone reviews. I was up from Tennessee for the week.First of all, the SERVICE was amazing. Unfortunately, I don’t remember our waitress’s name. She was very kind, pleasant and was on top of making sure we were taken care of. The service was quick and the place was very clean. The FOOD? Omygosh when she brought it out my mouth watered. I had a western omelette and it came with pancakes and I had the blueberry toppings added. It was all absolutely delicious. The prices were also fair. It’s hard to find decent service anywhere anymore. Also, food quantity has went down so horribly in last couple years. But, we had the best of both worlds. EXCELLENT SERVICE AND FOOD!!!! Thank you so much and I definitely will come back when I’m in the area.
As for parking, the lot is located at the corner of Clippard and East Grand River. They share the space with several other businesses, but there are plenty of spots available. Additionally, the establishment is wheelchair accessible, both in the building and the parking area.
Unfortunately, I didn't take any photos, but the service was fantastic, especially on quieter mornings. The wait during busy times was reasonable and what I expected. I highly recommend the skillet; it was delicious! The only improvement I would suggest is to update the restrooms. Other than that, everything was great! Food: 5/5
