Overall, this was a great location just off the highway. I expected there to be noise from the road, but it was quiet in the room. The room itself was a decent size and fairly clean, although there were a few spots on the carpet and some mildew in the shower. The water pressure in the shower wasn't great, and I really didn't like the motion sensors in the bathroom that turned on when you walked in; that was inconvenient in the middle of the night. The bed was very comfortable, and I had a good night's sleep. However, I would have liked to have a safe in the room. I tried the continental breakfast buffet one day, which was pretty standard, but the next morning I had the waffle with berries, and that was excellent. Despite a few minor issues, I would consider staying here again.
I stayed here for one night and found the place to be new and clean. The rooms are very quiet, and the area feels safe. The only aspect that could use improvement is the breakfast service; there was only one server handling a large number of guests. Other than that, everything was above average. It's also conveniently located not far from the airport and the MSP training area. I recommend checking out Horrocks Farm Market across the street.
I ordered the pulled pork nachos, which were a large portion for an appetizer at $15. However, the menu was quite limited and most items were on the pricey side.
Smallest HGI room of any I have stayed at. HVAC system blew hot or cold on you does not cycle on/off, no auto selection built in. I don't recommend this hotel. There are many other options in the Lansing area.
