What Guiseppe Hackett doesn't like about Restaurant l'Islet:
We didn't get the smoked truite which might be the best thing to try here ... Instead I had the absolute worst and most tasteless "angus" hamburger of my life (a real shame for 20$) and my wife a kind of ragout which was so salty she couldn't finish it :(Some may say it is not a good idea to take a hamburger and / or ragout in such a restaurant but I really think they shouldn't serve any meal to customers so badly co... We stopped at this restaurant for lunch during our cruise on the Saguenay River. It is a short walk uphill from the boat dock. The elevation is enough to give you a wonderfully expansive view of the river (fjord) and the surrounding hills. The lunch really was excellent. The tomato soup was unique and superb.
