Wonderful food (3 courses of delicious local produce) with a genial host and great atmosphere. A knowledgeable education in bush tucker, accompanied by a most entertaining repertoire of yarns about life in the bush. Haven't laughed so much in a long time. Highly recommended. View all feedback.
What John Fernandes doesn't like about Marksies Camp Tucker:
The food was average. Some interesting flavours but nothing special. So then you would think the entertainment should be top notch to compensate but it wasn't. The Bushman stories were dull, even crass. Talking about Wave Hill station and not mentioning the walk-off is doing...an injustice to our history. View all feedback.
We had been lucky enough to secure marksie’s fourth night before he hangs his storage stoves and goes to rest. a delightful and pleasant evening of the garnish and the camp, which cooks under the open sky. marksie is gentleman bushchmann, stratified counter, stratified counter and. open fire, camp of chef. his dampers were great and the onepot was the next stage, with a sortiment of bushcutters, fruit and food flavored. some of the best billy tee I've ever tried. so sad that this real experience will not continue after next week. travel well in their standing marksie.
Outstanding experience, from ambiente the environment to detail in decor. this night was full of amazing taste and to tell stories. the hosts and companies from many corners of the world filled the night with laughs and memories.
What a unique experience and extra tasty slowly cooked meal with great history tell and friendly staff I hope this goes beyond oktober so that we can come back a day it is byo so make sure to arrive with some cold drinks at hot evenings
This was a fun night with some very good bush food and marksie told some great stories. also the wallaby wandering through the website and the personal was very friendly and cared for the guests including various nutritional requirements.
Went to Marksie's for a bushman's dinner and was extremely impressed with the story telling and the quality of the food. The staff were extremely helpful and able to assist with a few personal requirements outside if the usual. Be a sad day when he...closes to retire,
