This past weekend was my first time ever at PineCrest- I was a guest for a wedding! Pros: I got the chicken dish for my entrée, and it was easily the BEST chicken dish I've ever had at a wedding. The chicken was perfectly breaded, and in this delicious rose, creamy sauce (sides were mashed potatoes and string beans, you can't go wrong). My fiancé got the filet mignon (with scalloped potatoes and asparagus) and thoroughly enjoyed his meal as well. The bartenders were excellent- their drinks were perfectly made each time, they were quick and extremely professional. Great dance floor!! Honestly, loved the layout of the entire place. There was not a bad seat in the house. Cons: I thought the cocktail hour was disorganized. There wasn't enough help to get the food out quickly, and the food was a little late to come out. The trays the staff were holding with the appetizers were entirely too small, so food ran out the instant they left the kitchen. The hors d'oeuvres themselves were typical wedding appetizers, nothing exceptional. This might be personal preference (or choice of the couple), but the dessert/coffee area was lacking. The entire staff was consistently professional and kind, I just think (like most places now) they could have used more hands on deck.
"Here are some photos from last night's event where students from Montgomery County joined various branches of the military at the Pinecrest Country Club! A big thank you to Kathy Barnette, running for the US Senate, for the invitation. The warm welcome and beautiful venue made for a wonderful evening. I am incredibly proud of the courageous choice these young individuals are making for our country."
I played at PineCrest during the summer months, and this was my first time visiting in February. The course is well-maintained and quite open, but I found it to be much more enjoyable when it's warmer. The pricing is very reasonable compared to other golf courses in terms of both surface quality and overall condition. The clubhouse is in excellent shape as well, making it a nice venue for private events.
We recently hosted our daughter's bridal shower at PineCrest CC. I can't say enough about the staff and their willingness to accommodate us. The day couldn't have been more perfect. Thanks to Ron, Deb and Jeff as well as to the servers (I'm sorry I don't have all their names), who helped make Jennas days so special! I recommend hosting your event with PineCrest CC.
Played PineCrest early in April, the course was in good shape for early spring. If you've played here before you know what to expect if you're looking for a new course to try I would recommend playing here. The fairways are tight so bring your straight clubs! The price is reasonable, employees were very friendly, all in a good day.
