This restaurant is located in the heart of Lannion. You would expect a beautiful tourist trap, but nothing of it! The ambience and seating are pleasant, the service efficient and friendly and we had a very good meal for a reasonable price. The selection of wines through the glass is opulent and the card allows a wide selection of dishes as well. They do not dare to serve fries and ketchup, which is no longer self-evi... What Pauline Lombard doesn't like about Le Tire Bouchon:
We visited the market with friends, and four of us had the €15 menu plus drinks. Good value, good service, pleasant atmosphere. They were out of tart for dessert, so offered us the a la carte menu desserts. I had a brûlée. View all feedback.
My sister-in-law recommended to eat in this restaurant because they had returned several times over 10 years because the food and service were so good. We tried the set 'Surf and Turf' menu and it was excellent although I felt that some items were offered as the elections for starters and main. I paid more for meals I enjoyed much less and the staff was excellent, really worth a visit.
We stumbled upon this utterly delightful restaurant while, with rumbling tummies, we searched for a lunch spot a little late in the day.... First off, the staff and Chef are so welcoming and wonderful, talking us through menu options (in English) with enthusiasm and in...great detail. The cuisine is absolutely exquisite, as are the salubrious surroundings! Thank you so much for a meal in league with a heavenly repast!!
Brought my family to this restaurant has had previously a really good meal however this time the food and service were both a massive let down. We arrived and the restaurant was really busy and the service extremely slow. Me and my mum both had...the razor clams for our main and they had not been properly washed therefore there was loads of sand left in them to such a point that my mum did not eat her dish. When this was brought to the attention of the waiter all we got was an apology they did not offer to have a new one made or even removed it from our total bill. Would definitely not be going back.
Unlike so many other restaurants, Le Tire Bouchon makes a definite statement about its cuisine: no fries, no sauce! Our first visit was on a sunny lunchtime in early September, where a close examination of the various formules on offer excited our curiosity, especially since...to seniors such as we, all the options seemed to offer good value for money. Others must have thought the same because the only table available was in the street. We sat down and were promptly given a menu from which we could choose a la carte or a formule. My wife and I both ordered from the formule menu, and I do remember our choices were well presented and tasted delicious. The service too was very good, so much so that at the end of our meal, we made a reservation to return in a few weeks and try an evening sitting. And we did. Again we were seated promptly, and again we received the same friendly service this time our waiter clearly spoke better English than we spoke French! I ordered from the Formule 22 menu and chose the smoked salmon with dill for my entree (delicious ; for my main I chose the pork belly with a creamy mushroom sauce and boiled, small new potatoes (excellent ; and for dessert I guiltily chose a nougat ice cream topped with raspberry sauce (annoyingly more ish! My wife had a pork terrine for her entree and a main course of mini scallops, rice, caramelised onions and a small lettuce salad. Her verdict? Excellent! The wine list was fairly extensive but (as usual we played safe and went with the house red, a merlot. At Euro 7.50 for 50cl it too was well worth the money! So a little gem in Lannion thoroughly recommended.
Came across this place while walking around Lannion. I 'm vegan, my partner is an omnivore and it can be tricky finding a quality place that suits us both. This place serves (animal product-heavy) sophisto French cuisine but I asked if the chef could accommodate me...and there was no problem at all. Had a lovely main dish of rice, veggies in a delicious 'Hawaiian ' sauce, *amazing* ?dilled? melty carrots. My compliments to the chef. The server was sympa and chatted with us a while too. To the restaurant, I 'm sorry for breaking a wine glass, and thanks again for being so flexible.
