Was Andy P at Pendra's a mag?
I had an amazing experience with the fish, and the portion of chips was surprisingly generous! The takeaway service was excellent, and the overall meal made for a very satisfying dinner. I would recommend this restaurant for a budget of £10–20 per person. The quality of the food definitely deserves a solid 5, and the service receives a 5 as well. Make sure to try the chips and cod! The atmosphere was equally uninspiring; the place felt unwelcoming and lacked the warmth you'd expect from a restaurant. Despite the reasonable price... View all feedback.

Good experience, food cooked fresh, more expensive then neighbouring chippy’s about £2-3 more, but it’s still good value in my opinion, would gladly return. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
Excellent fish and chips best in Somerset. Parking: Lots of parking outside Service: Takeaway Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Chips, Cod Parking space: Plenty of parking
Ordered cod and chips from here this evening. The fish batter had a burnt taste to it although not burnt or over cooked suggesting the oil it was cooked in is spoiled. Portion sizes were good. Didn't pay a lot of attention to the price I notice others have commented on. Pleasent service with a smile, just disappointed with the food this evening.
