Caleb was an outstanding server, and so was the young lady who greeted us. We haven't experienced such excellent service since the pandemic began. We've dined at numerous restaurants since then, but none of the servers have matched Caleb's level of attentiveness. His attention to detail was impressive. He was timely with our drink refills and checked in frequently to ensure everything was just right. We will definite... View all feedback.
What Michael Ryan doesn't like about White Spot Langley:
I experienced delays in being seated, and once at the table, the service was very slow. We waited nearly an hour for our food, which arrived cold. Additionally, my request for a club soda was never fulfilled. I won't be returning to this restaurant. View all feedback.
Okay, so we have been going to White Spot for ages and not always had on point services, but that's okay. It happens. We are all human. So this exuberance was interesting but ended really well. We arrived and were told a 25-minute wait but was about 45 minutes. The staff was great they updated us and gave the 4 kids the kids' menus to draw on. We chatted with the front desk as we waited for the larger family to leave. Once seated, we all was good. However, we waited another hour and a half for our food to arrive. The server was so nice they brought fries early, apple slices for the kids as the kitchen was short staff. The manager came out and apologized, and we 100% understand. The food was good, the service was slow but all the staff involved was very kind and aware.
Been this place before, but this time, it was not great. Specially the server was keep making mistakes, forget order and something was double charged. Their washroom was very smelly. (Maybe install better fan?
My wife loves the IPA, and the fries with bacon and cheese are delicious!
Loads of pirate ships at the entrance. What an amazing sight for the children. Typical White Spot restaurant, beef dip is a must as well as the pirate ship kids menu.
Well our pickup time was for 6:45, and currently at 8:10 we still do not have our order. No one has even attempted to talk to us. At this point we just want a refund and to go somewhere else but no one is availible to talk and I can't even phone the restaurant. Why? They've disconnected their phones.I understand and sympathize with the fact that pirate pack day is a busy day and sometimes you cannot control wait times, but you can 100% control how you deal with the situation. The manager is picking and choosing random people to talk to, telling one person that their order would be out in 10 minutes... 30 minutes ago. We stood beside a lady who's pickup time was 545 and she's still waiting.Honestly this feels like a messed up social experiment and I feel like I'm being held hostage.
