Had a nice bday meal with the family. It tastes as great as it looks. Prices are reasonable for the meal set and you get the cutlet, soup, rice and salad. We would definitely come back again. View all feedback.
What Garry Mathewson doesn't like about The Katsu Cutlet House:
The first time we tried to eat here they were closed in the middle of the day, so we ate next door. We returned again a few days ago. The food was good and portion sizes were nice. Prices are reasonable, but the nice colour menu is on the wall, while a small black and white menu was on the table only one for the table. The server was nice and jovial, but ignored us for long periods of time, while we tried fruitlessly... View all feedback.
Tried our fair share of Tonkatsu places and this one was the best overall specially for value. We’ll be coming back for sure.
By far the best Katsu i have ever had anywhere. You can clearly see the effort put in the food to make it look and taste good. Amazing service and decent prices.
My favorite katsu place in BC! Found it totally by accident, and what a nice surprise it was. The food tastes amazing, they have good katsu options and the price is great! Will definitely come back.
Has really high hopes for this place and was super disappointed. We’ve been to many katsu places all over the lower mainland and unfortunately, this one was the worst.Service was ok, restaurant was very empty. Only two other tables with guests. Tables were sticky and it was very dark. They were blasting Korean ? music as well. The food is where it took a turn for the worst. The most dry, over fried, unseasoned chicken and fish ever. It had zero taste. It felt like I was eating cardboard. The Tonkotsu dipping sauce was very clearly from a bottle and not homemade. Just pure laziness. The miso soup and salad were the saving graces for me, but that’s not really saying anything For $16-17 per dish, definitely over priced. Also, it was very hard to find parking. Was extremely disappointed with this experience and we wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.
The Katsu Cutlet House in Langley is one of our go to for affordable, quick and straight to the point lunch spot! We have been here about 3 times now and we have mostly ordered all of their katsu options. I would personally highly recommend their Katsu Nabe its deep fried pork loin with mushroom sauce served on a hot plate! It was delicious! I wish their menu will expand a bit more for variety, and also for the rice serving to be a bit bigger. Service is quick and friendly and prices are affordable hope they won’t increase their prices then we will for sure continue to visit this restaurant.
