LA Cafe - Langley

We went to Vancouver for the weekend, and had nothing but problems all along the way. We stopped at LA Cafe, not expecting much, but we were pleasantly surprised. The menu was diverse, the prices were incredible, and the food was GREAT. I had a hard time choosing between the Blackstone Eggs Benedict, Monte Cristo and Hamburger Steak. I went with the hamburger steak and eggs, and my husband had the open face beef sandwich. Neither of us could finish our meals - the portion sizes were big. Food was hot and fresh. Our bill was $20.00 all in - CRAZY - that was a first. I would recommend this restaurant for the food, prices and service. I am sure it was the owner that served us - and he was perfect. Thank you for a very pleasant surprise in our otherwise problematic trip.

This is a small restaurant in a quaint section of Langley. You can tell by the groups of regulars meeting for coffee and breakfast that it's going to be one of those places you are going to enjoy. We each had eggs with a hamburger patty that was cooked like a down home meal. The service was great.We asked the owner about the best route from the restaurant to the BC Ferry terminal. He wasn't sure but asked one of the regulars eating with a group of six people if he could help us. The gentleman gave us directions and visited with us. The real surprise was after he left the owner informed us the gentleman had paid for our breakfast. This is a place you don't want to miss!

Its an OK place to grab brkfst, the staff is very nice and the food is average. Coffee sucks, unfortunately.

Guess it's like a truckers delight as when your on the road here you will find big breakfasts and the selection are numerous to choose from. They serve lunch as well. Place is clean service is great staff are welcoming and friendly and very helpful.
