What V L doesn't like about Sushi California:
The server took 15 minutes to take my order, despite the fact that the restaurant only had 2 tables with customers. The food was decent, with the fried dishes being better than the sushi. The shrimp was extremely dry, unlike any other dry shrimp I've had before. The tobiko was freezer cold, as was the dry cold rice. The unagi, toro, and hamachi were satisfactory. The dining experience at this restaurant is consistently good, with a wide menu offering many options for everyone. The service is fast and friendly, although finding a table can be a challenge at times. Those looking for generously sized sushi portions at a good value will find this place to be a great option.
