What Laurel S doesn't like about University Grill:
It's fine. It's a hotel bar so about what you'd expect. The one lady working was really busting her butt. Had the chicken blt. Chicken was pretty good, too much bread and seemed a little dry but overall an OK meal. View all feedback.
It was a decent experience. As a hotel bar, it met my expectations. The one server was working extremely hard, which I appreciated. I ordered the chicken BLT; the chicken was quite tasty, but there was a bit too much bread, and it felt a little dry. Overall, it was an acceptable meal.
Despite the name "University Grill," the food is far from typical college fare. It's gourmet and incredibly delicious! We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner, and they also offer kid-friendly options.
I was pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. It's definitely worth having breakfast here if you're staying at the hotel. It surpasses the typical hotel breakfast buffet by a considerable margin.
Could have used more of a variety of food at the buffet but food was good.
Good selection of hot and cold items. Can special order if wanted.. Some of the items on buffet were a bit cold. Service was fair.
