I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The bed in my room was very comfortable, allowing me to sleep well. My room featured a TV, a bed, and a bathroom with a shower. It also had a kettle, which was perfect for making a cup of tea. Plus, there are great dining options available on-site. View all feedback.
What Gary S doesn't like about The Venue:
I booked a stay here to attend a wedding at Mitton Hall, as the website stated it was only 1.6 miles away. In reality, it turned out to be 8 miles distant, which resulted in an expensive taxi fare both ways. While the rooms were clean, their decor felt reminiscent of the 1980s. The hotel is nice, and the full English breakfast was enjoyable—especially the delicious sausages, all cooked to perfection. Overall, I would rate the rooms a 4, the service a 5, and the location a 4.
We arrived on a Sunday evening to beautifully presented rooms and a welcoming atmosphere. We ate dinner that evening, and, while we were waiting for a while, the food surpassed our expectations in both quantity and quality.
