in front of our mini-golf-Challenge we drank coffee up there and enjoyed the delicious apfelstrudel. very tasty. the toilets are ok, the prices too. the minigolf course has come into the years, but good in shot. There are benches where you can not only connect the dog... also to rest ( minigolf can be soouo exhausting!) invite the benches. A really recommended trip that has made us all much fun! There is only a fresh breeze that makes the bud life again.
Secret tip if you want to eat well and have a nice service. All dishes are freshly prepared and come to the table with a cheerful word. Especially the fur potatoes with matjes are recommended. But also the Golfburger. As dessert: cold milk.
Because Café and Minigolf are together, the text refers exclusively to the golf course: Normally we play Langeoog more often minigolf in just under three weeks. And take a drink before (or after) on the beautiful windproof terrace to us. In 2018 we only played there once. What was not because the beautiful windmill was missing. The railway is not well maintained in 2018. Suddenly the obstacles like the red loop on the track 8 or 9. Thus, the ball has to be “only” straight over the bumpy track that is boring. Too often the gamepad is damaged or even broken. You play on two levels. What is particularly annoying when these fractures are close to the target. The colour brittle at many places completes this impression. A bit of maintenance and facelifting would do this facility very well.
The mini-golf complex is located directly on the harbour road, in the middle of the green, below the rails of the island railway (where you have an excellent view during the game), about halfway from the city center and the port, there you can take a bicycle or after a 20-minute walk. The complex is located below a café. The clubs and balls must be picked up from the café. Very well signed. There are 18 trains that are really well maintained, otherwise a broom would be ready. The complex is surrounded by trees, shrubs and flowers in the middle of the green. Everything's lawn. In the middle there is a decorative windmill that produces a beautiful flair. On each track there is a seat and a block holder. The railways are a little different than we know from East Westphalia. What was more fun. When we were there, only two groups were in front of us. So there were no waiting times and you could play in a game. Only when we met the last tracks, it was filled with a time. After all, I would go back there every time. Have fun. P.S. I can't say anything about the café because we haven't visited it.
