a little hidden at the northernmost zipfel meadow it is a hay restaurant that comes out without kitsch. snorkelless, but solid wood furniture. barely tourist among the guests, thus optimal to get to the conversation with local and also the owner. barely suitable for vegetarians. price everything in the frame. current (2014) veltliner and mixed set awarded - too right, as I find, and also the hot one is very drinkable... We were greeted by a very unfriendly middle blonde woman. She seemed very irritated by having to do her job, and her negative energy put the sound for the whole place. We couldn't get out fast enough! Fortunately, there are many friendly competitions in the area. We went to Heuriger Wieninger and were warmly welcomed and had a wonderful experience there.
We found this place by chance from Tram-Terminus in Stammersdorf. It is family business and our host was the owner and winemaker. The service was excellent and we chose from the counter, chicken with a mixture of potatoes, potato salad and sauerkraut. I had also washed bread and local smoked cheese with excellent house wine. We shared a large piece of cake with fruit and cream. For 3 of us the accounts came to 36 euros! The whole experience was a joy.
