The food was truly delicious, despite the open buffet – the flavors were absolutely convincing. One of the servers was also very friendly and attentive. Unfortunately, the other server was the complete opposite: very unfriendly and constantly giving us dirty looks, which significantly dampened the atmosphere. I found the restaurant overpriced. Furthermore, the organization seemed somewhat chaotic, as drinks were only noted manually on coasters – it didn't appear professional or particularly trustworthy. Overall, the food was good, but the value for money and service could be improved.
I 've been there several times, and the food is generally not bad. However, what 's completely unacceptable is when dishes labeled as meat-free suddenly contain minced meat. That shouldn 't be happening in 2026; there are vegetarians in Langenzenn, too. What 's even worse about the ambiance is the blatant violation of the smoking ban. The outdoor area is completely enclosed with tarpaulins along the edges, so you have to walk through a smoke-filled area to get to the actual dining room. On my last visit, I asked them to at least close the door to this smoking room, which one server did, but a man (the owner? found it too much trouble, so in the end, the dining room also reeked of smoke, and by the end of our visit, so did my hair. I hope you read this and remember that this violates the smoking ban and is punishable by fines.
