Excellent service, typical Turkish hospitality is lived here! After a four-hour drive and a wait at Langenhagen Airport, I was starving and went looking for a place to eat and finally stumbled upon Dede Imbiss. Used to male employees in kebab shops, I was surprised by a friendly lady behind the counter. She noticed my indecision about the kebab and immediately offered me three different meats and various sauces. During the conversation, Havva, who introduced herself and her husband Özay as the owner of the snack bar, told me that the bread, salad, sauces, creams, and manti are all homemade. I have to say, you can taste it! I opted for the veal kebab because I don't particularly like lamb and find chicken too dry. Havva proved that this isn't the case at Dede, with a sample of her juicy chicken kebab. I was also offered a sample of the freshly mixed cheese cream: delicious! Havva served me her Turkish chai, flavored with a pinch of cloves, with my veal doner on the house. When I mentioned during the conversation that I was a fan of Turkish manti, I was also given a sample of her handmade manti! Havva knows how to put her own stamp on the dishes with small, subtle touches; it's truly delicious! Overall, I spent a good 1.5 hours at Dede Imbiss, where I was exceptionally well looked after and entertained, even though it was very busy. I will definitely return next time I'm in Hanover! The wrong item was delivered via Lieferando. We ordered it with cocktail sauce, but it arrived with a strong curry flavor. We called to inquire and are furious at being brushed off like that. Completely unfriendly. The delivery man could have offered us different options (which you'd expect in such a situation), but unfortunately, he didn't. The food tastes awful. I would never recommend them!
