Firstly if I may say the service was appalling I could of got better service from a wall, the wall doesn't even communicate back. Secondly I ordered a 5th avenue pizza, normal size, but of kebab mest on top but nothing special, normal price £5.40 I was charged £8.00 for the shocking service and an overpriced pizza, £2.60 for the smallest ever portion of kebab meat. Thirdly when I got the pizza home to find it wasn't cooked 100% as it was still cold, I'm all for heating the pizza up if I had been carrying it home for a while, but from the time of me picking the pizza up to me sitting down to eat it was no more then 5 minutes, I am ashamed to call it a local pizzeria when I used to like going there for a laugh with the staff and fantastic food, now the food isn't great and the staff are arrogant now, just trying to get money out of you.
So, I have to admit that I'm a fan of pizza it is my firm belief that pizza is suitable for any occasion; breakfast, dinner... entertaining the in laws. Pizza Max has been in Bredbury for some time now, and it's way to see why there's a great selection of toppings, pretty much any craving you desire can be accommodated, and if it's not on the menu, they're more than happy to oblige by building what you fancy. A personal favourite is pineapple and anchovy, although I appreciate that combo might need a bit of getting used to. The pizzas come in three types 11 , 11 deep pan and 16 . The deep pan doesn't disappoint, it's not just more dough, but more topping too that's not to say that they're stingy with the toppings on the others; they fill them right up... An 11 is more than enough for one person and the 16 will do about three. The only minor gripe is that theb pizzas are a little on the greasy side, so this definitely isn't the low calorie option although you are reading this, so maybe you, like me, aren't too worried. If you're not in the mood for pizza, they also do a selection of other takeaway favourites; chips, southern fried chicken, kebabs etc. Pizza Max is great for a quiet night in front of the telly, or quenching those late night, post pub, hunger pangs.
