The innkeeper then lo... read more Something strange: when the four of us sat down on the small swimming terrace to eat, we took the menu that was at the entrance ourselves. The innkeeper then loudly told us that the waiter would bring us the card and that we shouldn't take it to the table ourselves... maybe he's afraid that we could take it with us as a souvenir? Otherwise the food, the ambience and the service were good, but expensive.

The service is great, but could be more relaxed in some situations. Inside the restaurant is a bit narrow in some places. Overall, absolute recommendation.

My fellow musician and I are also active members of the Landshut Wedding, so w... read more The Isarklause is particularly popular with participants in the Landshut Wedding. My fellow musician and I are also active members of the Landshut Wedding, so we also attended this year 's castle festival in costume. After the castle festival ended on Saturday evening, we, like many other costumed people, headed to the Isarklause. Neither of us had any instruments with us at that point. After there was no more space inside the restaurant, we went out through the door facing the Isar and were just about to sit down when the landlady not-so-politely asked us to leave. Her reason was that she would otherwise get into trouble with the residents for the noise. Remember: there were only two of us, we didn 't have any instruments, and we hadn 't even sat down yet. Incidentally, the drummers and fife players inside the restaurant were playing at full volume at that time. Oh well...so far so good. As we were already moving on without further ado, the landlady followed us to the nearest bench and from there threw us away in the most rude manner. The drummers and fifes were still playing inside the bar – not to mention the loud roar of the patrons. Two completely harmless people, having a normal conversation and not under the influence of alcohol, were thrown out in the most outrageous manner. Apparently, only select guests are welcome in this bar.
