It's worth the little detour (and avoiding slow traffic) for this delightful place with great service. High quality food served beautifully. Lovely, unpretentious atmosphere. Would have received 5 stars if it had a playground by the Biergarten. View all feedback.

The food was super delicious and very large portions. The family was very courteous and polite and our waiter was very diligent! Come on again!
Very tasty food, little raised prices, but for good quality you pay. Quick and friendly service. Very interesting dishes.
We had a business dinner in the forest industry. Sandau has a beautiful and varied menu, there is something for every taste. The atmosphere in the restaurant is cosy rustic. It is discreet and beautifully decorated Christmas. We felt very comfortable. Next to the restaurant there is a shooting range, so also club scaffolds. The staff is very friendly and the service is good. Tastefully we were all very satisfied. Fish, beef, salad and various supplements have given us a good impression of quality. Everything was beautifully dressed and appropriate in the crowd. The toilets are very clean, parking is sufficient. Sandau is approx. 2 km outside the mother tower in Landsberg am Lech and is easy to reach. We can recommend forest management and wish the motivated team a lot of success. Today the economy has changed your owner. We were four adults and two children. We are all next door at the Schützenverein and wanted to try out the new restaurant. Of course, we understand that on the first day of the opening, when a lot is going on, food takes longer. However, we have experienced inconceivable and there is no return for us. The order was added, we have approx. 1 1/2 hours waited until we asked when our food comes. There was no answer. A little later, we asked again until the waitress meant that the order did not reach the kitchen. A table opposite us, sat there for 10 minutes and they got food for the children directly. The waitress no longer came to the table to resume the order or to apologize for the event. Then I went in and described the situation to the boss. This guy got angry from his table and hit me if he's supposed to kill himself now, that's how it is. Other sentences followed. The waitress stood next and both said they had to protest, instead of as it would have been, apologise and take the food and say the drinks or the dessert goes to the house. I then told the boss that this isn't part of dealing with his client and that we're going to go now. Shortly after that, a woman (from the kitchen) came out madly on the terrace and shouted as loud as unharmed that would be all and left out 5 min. We were so shocked that we will certainly no longer put foot in the economy.
We went to dinner on the opening day. It was clear that no one had expected such an urge and not everything was going round. Therefore, we had full understanding that it took a little longer. The new hosts were still very friendly and the food was very delicious. We like to give the new team a few days to adjust to the new environment.
