Gül Kebap - Landau

So not much expected, but then really positiw surprised! vegan yogurt sauce and very good, really super good saitanic meat. I was polite because I thought the salesman had sold me a meat bag. updated by previous review on 2021-08-06

Döner and yufka were both tasty, but could be a little more spicy. the soße consisted only of unacidified soy yogurt.

Tried it on my way home, small bistro but everything is freshly prepared even the dough! Very chewy and nice selection or fresh vegetables topped with a lot of Seitan. Really nice and filling meal that I'd totally recommend!

The shop does not have it on the menu but if you ask they know about and offer vegan options. The taste is okay, nothing special. Therefore it is quite pricey (5€ for a vegan kebap). Still okay because they serve seitan and also vegan sauces.

The gül kebap is a common little kebap snack in the middle of the city landau. in the summer they can sit outside. I tried the yufka that is delicious, fresh, including the flatbread. but the meat substitute is not so sharp that the taste is masked. So it is the question if they really like to pay 2€ more, on the vegearine yufka. I did not ask, but perhaps it is possible to get the vegetarian yufka with alpro that would make it vegan without paying the 2€ for the meat substitute. updated by previous review on 2020-01-02
