Popped in here last year and met the landlord, Mike who is a zany, fun and peculiar fellow. He has a wonderful dog, which a woman at the bar was having a full blown conversation with. Very friendly. Great beer. Can’t wait to visit again!

I have been coming here since I was a child with my parents, and various landlord have come and go and so the atmosphere of the pub has changed with them. Liam the new landlord is lovely and welcoming whether you are visiting for food or just drinks the service is excellent and you are served with a smile. Not to mention the various games nights and live entertainment he has on. A brilliant place to visit. What a difference a landlord ,makes : Also love his weekly Facebook updates, so we can always keep track of what is happening. He and the other pubs on the Quay have a great attitude to each others business and even go to each others establishments for drinks. Making the Quay once again he place to be.
