Rustic Bakes Lancaster Tea Room

This charming café is a delightful addition to the historic meeting rooms emporium, housed in a beautiful Grade II listed building. The menu offers a selection of homemade dishes, including a delightful Turkish bonsuppet soup, freshly made sandwiches, and a pot of tea. The tempting display of cakes, scones, and pastries was hard to resist, with the lavender cake being a particular standout. The service was very friendly, and I look forward to returning soon. Additionally, you can take items home or preorder sweets for special occasions.

When we walked into the bustling entrance, it didn't seem like the cafe we were searching for. To our delight, we discovered a small, cozy room just around the corner on the opposite side. You could almost call it a hidden gem! The highlight of our visit was the lovely woman who welcomed us. She went above and beyond to make us feel at home and served us a delicious vegan English breakfast. It was not only authentic and incredibly delicious, but also affordable! We will definitely be returning and highly recommend this place to others!
