Authentic Malaysian cuisine with a welcoming atmosphere. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating to dogs. However, there’s no draft beer and cocktails aren’t offered. The waitress seemed uncertain about how to order certain Malaysian dishes. The decor could use some updating. Overall, it's a great value for the money, and our dog really enjoyed the experience!
Our Christmas outing took a turn for the worse the moment we pulled into the nearly empty parking lot. With it being the holiday season, we expected it to be bustling, especially since most other places were either fully booked or closed. When we entered the restaurant, we were greeted by a pleasant woman whom we assumed was the owner. She was polite and welcoming, which was a small comfort amidst our growing concerns. As we were led to our table, we noticed some half-hearted decorations, but the overall state of the establishment left much to be desired. I ventured to the bar, where I was dismayed to discover that several drink options were unavailable. The only soft drinks offered were orange, blackcurrant, full-sugar cola, and lemonade – a very limited selection that didn't help assuage our apprehension. The cleanliness of the bar area was another letdown; it appeared grimy, and the pint glasses failed to maintain the carbonation of the beer due to their lack of nucleation grooves. To make matters worse, the glasses were dirty, and I noticed that our tableware was also in poor condition – it looked as if the previous diner had merely licked it clean before it was placed back on the table. When our food arrived, the satay sticks were decent, but the prawn cocktail was a complete disaster. The seafood sauce tasted off, almost like it was made with salad cream instead of mayonnaise, resulting in a bitter, unpleasant flavor that lingered. After finishing our starters, we flagged down the waiter to address the dirty cutlery that had clearly been reused without proper cleaning. In response to our concerns, he casually acknowledged our complaint with a dismissive remark. At that point, we were ready to walk out. Had it not been Christmas, we wouldn't have stayed seated for another moment. Overall, we were incredibly disappointed by the lack of cleanliness and the staff's indifferent attitude. The only positive note was that the restrooms were clean, but that hardly made up for the experience. It was a truly disheartening visit that left us feeling uneasy and unwelcome.

I'm sorry to say, this place really needs some serious renovations. The entire building, both inside and out, is quite outdated and in need of significant investment. However, the food is truly extraordinary and offers incredible value for money. The owner was pleasant, and the flavors in the dishes were expertly crafted, with excellent gluten-free options available. The complimentary small starter and the two pieces of coconut sweets served with the bill were absolutely delicious. Everything is made in-house, showcasing authentic Malaysian cuisine. They currently have only a selection of white wines, but they're expecting to expand their offerings soon. With some financial backing for careful renovations, this place could be fantastic, and people would travel from afar to dine here.
I'm sorry this place really needs some DC. The whole building inside and outside is very ashamed and needs serious spending. After saying that the food is really extraordinary and incredible value for money. The lady who seems to own it was beautiful The food was cooked on any level of spices that you and the gluten-free choice was exceptional. The extra small free starter and the two pieces of coconut sweetness presented with the bill were so delicious. Absolutely everything is made at home in truly Malaysian style. A selection of white wine only, but they expected more to be delivered soon. With some money behind it and someone with very careful renovation knowledge this place could be fantastic and people would travel for miles for food.
