While some diners were impressed with the fresh food and friendly service, others were disappointed with dirty conditions, rude staff, and a lack of cleanliness. Despite varying opinions, overall, the restaurant seems to struggle with consistency in service and food quality, with some customers praising certain staff members for their exceptional customer service while others were left feeling dissatisfied with their overall experience. Moving forward, the restaurant would benefit from improved management and a focus on maintaining cleanliness and providing consistent service to all its patrons.

I went here yesterday and it was great. My friend has difficulties walking and a member staff very quickly found her a seat in a very busy restaurant. The food was hot and very tasty.
McDonald's isn't exactly known for good customer service but my granddaughter and I met the exception today. We called in for breakfast and sat in the pleasant area upstairs. Without us asking a young woman named Thaina brought my granddaughter a colouring sheet and a packet of crayons. When my granddaughter thanked her the lady she responded with a smile and chatted to us both asking if there was anything we needed. This is a VERY busy branch and it is not always possible for the staff to give any personal attention but when time allows they do so willingly. McDonald's at Lancaster are lucky to have Thaina and other good staff members in their team.
As a paying customer I sat with my wife down in the entrance where the bays are awaiting my food we had paid for. We were approached by a member of staff clearly in training as she was rude and made us feel like we were not welcome in this fine establishment. She asked us if we were a priority.....and looked at us like we were stupid. Not understanding her we asked what she meant and told us its priority seating and we had to move. It wasn't busy and there was plenty of seating around so asking us to get up and move all our shopping that was clearly visible was uncalled for. I would expect this in the mayfair hotel not McDonalds and I would seriously remind your staff of this. Working within the hospitality industry I have found many people that behave in this way are not effective team leaders and are in many terms disciplined and then some where down the line removed . I will not be using this establishment again good day.
The restaurant in the bustling city center served typical food, but the place was untidy and a bit shabby. It was understandable given the busy atmosphere, but there were very few staff members present to clean up. Overall, the service was below average.
