They offer reasonable prices and a wide variety of customizable drinks, as well as delicious soups.

My partner loves a vegetarian cooked breakfast, so when I saw it on the menu, we had to give it a try, even though it was already past noon. Since it was his birthday, they kindly agreed to make it for him, and he really enjoyed it. I opted for a Hot Box, which had a great selection of items to choose from and was both fresh and delicious when it arrived. The staff member was friendly and knowledgeable, and didn't hesitate to accommodate a vegan gluten-free diet. We highly recommend this place and will definitely visit again next time we're in Lancaster.

I decided to come back for a second time a few days later at 12:30, only to be informed that they were deep cleaning the waffle machine and it would take about 1 hour and 30 minutes. We didn't have enough time to wait as it was our lunch hour, so we had food from somewhere else. When we returned 2 days later at the same time, they were once again deep cleaning the waffle machine. Disappointed, we left and got food from somewhere else. Today, we tried again to get another waffle and fortunately, the machine was not being deep cleaned. However, the batter was not ready as someone was still making it. We ordered our waffles at 12:45 and were told they would be ready in 15 minutes. 35 minutes later, my waffle was served and it was clearly rushed, with undercooked batter. Another 10 minutes later, the other order came out and it was also rushed and undercooked. This was a really poor effort, especially since I used to enjoy eating here before the menu change.

When I went in and asked what was available on the tastecard, the staff were unaware what a tastecard was and were equally unaware this café used it. I showed them the website which proved that the café was on the tastecard to which the order was adhered too. When we asked what paninis were available we were shown an old and battered piece of paper which showed the menu. Unfortunately, you couldn't read half of the options.
