The restaurant is in a great location, very close to the beach and the only toilets for a mile in any direction. The coffee is delicious and there is a nice view from the cafe if you sit outside. There are plenty of tables available outside as well. View all feedback.
What David Roberts doesn't like about Half Moon Bay Cafe:
Very unfriendly welcome from the cash only signs and also the girl on the till. £10 for two bacon sandwiches and a coffee. The bread was cheap, floury and smothered in cheap greasy margarine. The bacon precooked so no flavour and rock hard. Lovely location....She the food and service was poor. Why cash only too? View all feedback.
This used to be a very good cafe. But not anymore. Since changing hands it gone right down. I went up there weeks ago. Asked for well done sausage balm! When it came it was pink
Lovely little cafe, lots of outdoor seating. Love the log fire home made chunky veg soup. Quite a few veggie options too. Definately worth a visit.
On holiday in the area and we went back to the cafe for coffee. Went inside to order and received my order quickly. Although we did not eat here the menu seemed to be quite varied and to suit most tastes. It was a warm...dry day and the cafe was quite busy. We sat outside overlooking the bay which is always good! And then for a walk arounf the bay. Good parking. Good facilities. Good for nearby walking.
Low quality food and rather overpriced. Paper cups and some plates. Some plastic plates. Plastic cutlery. Nothing recycled or washed up. Sticky dirty benches and tables. Smelly ashtrays. Dogs too. Won’t be going back.
