We always enjoy our visits to... read more The food was delicious, the atmosphere was sophisticated and lively, and the server was extremely friendly and quick to assist us. We always enjoy our visits to this restaurant. However, the reason for my review tonight and the reason for a less than five-star rating was because we were left feeling somewhat disappointed. We had come to celebrate our sister's birthday, which the server noticed due to the gift bag on our table. Upon learning it was her birthday, he kindly offered a free dessert. Unfortunately, my sister has both gluten and nut allergies (she loves this place because of their great gluten-free options) and had to decline the dessert. The server then offered her a margarita as an alternative, which she happily accepted. The owner later brought the drink to her, but it was only after she had taken a few sips that the server mentioned that they would have to charge her a $5 difference because the desserts cost $8 and the margaritas cost $13. Neither the server, who had offered the margarita as a substitute for the complimentary dessert, nor the owner who delivered the drink, had mentioned the price difference beforehand. This left us feeling a bit put off. Overall, the experience was positive, but the unexpected charge for the drink they had offered left us feeling a little disappointed after spending nearly $200 at their establishment.

I still decided to get a drink since I was already here. I got a Paloma and it was the best I’ve ever had. The ingredients were extremely fresh and perfectly balanced. The interior of the restaurant is also beautiful. I can’t wait to come back and try the food.

The kitchen nicely cooked my request of medium for the local Grass fed Black Angus Burger which came w/ a side of Double C's yummy Spicy Mac Cheese just the right amount ofspice! I had the urge for a burger and ordered the 50/50 burger (beef and lamb). I was a bit surprised to find the additional items such as tomatoes, picked and saucescost extra. Despite that, the burgers were cooked to perfection. ????????The noise level was a bit high but bearable. Theevening was topped off with an amazing dessert ????. It is my strong recommendation to give Double C’s a try when your up fora delicious meal and good vibes. ????
