No hostess. Walked in until we found a waitress who very kindly sat us down and helped us. It was cold and the ceiling fans made it colder. My elderly mom and I enjoyed our breakfast of scrambled eggs with onions and bacon and waffles. Very generous portions and even gave me more orange juice to go. What Avin Goodwin doesn't like about Marie Callender's Bakery:
I just ordered pie. One was cheesecake, and the other pecan pie. Both in my view was not good. The cheesecake was frozen and the pecan pie was really thick and didn't have enough pecans. The service was good but the atmosphere was like I was in Goodfells or Godfathers. Had the feel old New York bar feel. View all feedback.
They no longer have the brunch buffet which is the only reason we went here on a Sunday. I had the California Eggs Benedict, which I didn't realized lacked canadian bacon/ham. So, while it was not terrible, I wasn't completely satisfied with it.Our server was nice.
THIS MIGHT BE ONE OF THE BEST PLACES I HAVE EATEN AT! The food is beyond incredible, it tasted beyond good, good selection of drinks, some of the kindest staff I have ever met. And if you see a girl with very distinct makeup she is so nice. She was on top of everything, and knew about all the food. The place is clean and beautiful. And even after they closed and we were still eating they didn't kick us out. Definitely recommend! Kid-friendliness: Very open and I believe they have option that kids may like, keep in mind you will probably have left overs but thats a good thing. Parking: It is next to a motel/hotel so there is plenty of parking in front of the place and nearby. Wheelchair accessibility: There is ramps everywhere including indoors. And plenty of handicapped spots available.
Food was under cooked and salmon was over cooked, party of 4 only 2 of our party were able to eat as the other waited for the mistakes to be fixed. Not busy at all and yet employee's scattered like there was no organization, was never offered more coffee. Just a cold shoulder place. Kinda sad it used to be a great restaurant.

She is recovering from surgery to her colon. No cocoa. ? but all and all food was good just a bit bland.
Food is usually quite tasty here. The major drawback is that their price/portion ratio BEFORE inflation hit was high, now it's obviously...(you get my point). Always have received excellent service here for the past 30+ years!!
