Leigh-anne's - Lancaster

Leigh Anne's used to be a great restaurant, but now it feels more like a cafeteria. They don’t use real plates or silverware anymore. Prices have gone up, but the atmosphere has really changed for the worse, and there are no waitresses. I’m really going to miss the old Leigh Anne's.

I ordered the flounder plate along with two sides. Unfortunately, the rice was a bit mushy. On the positive side, the fish was seasoned quite well, and the collard greens were excellent. It was actually my first time trying collard greens with carrots, and I loved it! The mac and cheese was good—though not the best I've had—it was still quite tasty. Overall, I would rate the experience a 7/10.

Fantastic Sunday lunch! The restaurant is spotless, the service is excellent, and the food tastes just like home cooking. The prices are very reasonable for the generous portions. The only drawback is that the space is quite small, and tables tend to fill up quickly around lunchtime. If you can be patient with a possible wait, I highly recommend it. Alternatively, you can do what we do and go early!

Stopped for breakfast at this place in Lancaster SC. We ordered breakfast. I ordered a cheese omelet it was very small and flat I am guessing it was made with one egg. The cheese that they put folded in the egg was disgusting I am talking Velveeta cheese. It was so gross I couldn't eat it. My other family member ordered pancakes. The server told him that they were huge pancakes. She was right, they hung over the side of the dinner plate. Unfortunately, they were not edible they were so thick that the inside of the pancake was gooey and not fully cooked. So I can definitely scratch this place off my list. I will add that the server was very nice, friendly and very attentive to all her customers. She was the best part of the experience.

Food and service was great, the place looks like an old gas station convenience store.
