Great place to spend the evening. Watching America's favorite pass time is wonderful! The tickets are pretty cheap and the people who work here keep you very much entertained. I love coming here in the summer. View all feedback.
What Christina L doesn't like about Kinetic Brewing Company Beer Garden At The Hangar:
Being that it was roughly 90 degrees yesterday, seat cushions should've been offered upon entering. I never imagined plastic could get so HOT! Ouch! Everyone around us was offered the seat cushions but us. Kind of odd. Anyway, the park is nice clean. The food is reasonably priced there's $2 beer available if a player is struck out. Not bad. Being that it was Memorial Day, I did expect a bigger crowd. $5 parking, all... View all feedback.
The Lancaster JetHawks provide a first class, family friendly operation. If you are in the Antelope Valley and looking for a fun sports experience or a night out and don't want to drive all the way to LA to see the Dodgers, this is a great option. PARKING: Ample parking is had for $5. Some of the parking is covered by solar panels. If you park right next to the stadium there is probably a small chance that your car may get hit by a foul ball. It looks like some people park at Cinemark and walk over and I saw some people park in an empty lot nearby but that is probably frowned upon. STADIUM: The Hangar is pretty much the twin of San Manuel Stadium in San Bernardino (home of the IE 66ers). Rather than having a southwestern/mission facade, it has a fairly plain facade with sandy tones and glass. It almost looks like a nice office park from the outside. The thing that sets it apart from San Bernardino or any other minor league park is an FA-18 Hornet jet mounted in the front of the stadium honoring the aerospace industry in the Antelope Valley. The seating bowl has two levels and all the seats have real folding chairs and cup holders. In addition to the netting behind the plate there is also a short net along the tops of the dugouts (as also found in Rancho Cucamonga). This provides protection from foul balls but if you want an unobstructed view you may want to sit in the upper level behind the dugouts or down the lines past the dugouts. If you want to splurge, you can get waiter service in the seats on the lower level right behind the plate. It can get really hot in Lancaster with seats on the third base side getting shade first as the sun goes down. EXPERIENCE: The JetHawks have some kind of promotion virtually every night including discount tickets, food and drink specials, and fireworks. On Sundays kids can play catch on the field before the game and can run the bases after the game. This is always a hit for the little ones. The players are also happy to sign autographs down the third base where the bullpen is completely uncovered and the pitchers just hang out on folding chairs. There is a bounce house and bounce house slide in the right field corner. Wrist bands will set you back $8, which is pretty steep given that a ticket to the game costs $8. All the workers (tickets, concessions, ushers) were extremely friendly, giving things somewhat of a down home, Midwestern feel. FOOD DRINK: The Hangar provides a wide selection of food options from loaded hot dogs, wraps, and bbq sandwiches to the heart attack in a bowl called the Hawk's Nest which consists of onion strings, chicken fries (chicken nuggets shaped like chunky french fries), chili, and cheese. They ran out of ice cream on the night we were here so I couldn't indulge in a root beer float but they still had shaved ice, Dippin Dots and other treats.
Great place. Family oriented. Excellent atmosphere. Only thing is that the staff at the beer/michelada booth should not be working there. Skinny black guy who I did not get his name is rude, and is usually on his phone wearing his earbuds. He does not listen to customers and looks like he could care less about his job. Hopefully he can receive better training or maybe put in a position on which he has less interaction with customers. Especially loyal customers who spend big bucks at every game. Hope someone reads this and does something about it. Peace.

What a blast. I took my family out to Lancaster to watch the Lancaster JetHawks (A Minor league). They are the minor league team for the Colorado Rockies. We bought these tickets because we 've been out before, but tonight was sugar skull bobblehead night! It didn 't disappoint! The atmosphere was so fun, the food was great, the crowd was awesome. Lots of family friendly activities with a kids area to play, and lots of in game promotions like t shirt giveaways, dancing, music, and giveaways for local restaurants and activities. I even picked up the new El Viento hat, which they call themselves every Friday night when they celebrate diversity in baseball. And to cap the night off, amazing fireworks! Cmon! The tickets were very affordable, $5 parking, easy access right off the freeway, lots of restaurants around the stadium. Great family night out. Can 't wait to go back! Go JetHawks!
