What Madaline Morissette dislikes about Complexity Wine:
The restaurant features lovely décor and has a friendly staff with a solid understanding of their wine selection. The food was decent, but the burgers were just okay. Overall, it lacked something special—just a bit of paint could enhance the ambiance. View all feedback.

Not many vegan options in the av, so it is always exciting when new places open or add existing joint vegan elements in their menu. the complexity is a weeping and cheese with several vegetarian lines with cheese tasting possibilities. I thought I had only to order a house green salad until I discovered two clearly marked new vegan entrees. I tried the jackfruit and quinoa tacos and they were delicious. I had not expected so good taste for a non-veganes restaurant. I was pleasantly surprised. it is worth coming back. beautiful atmosphere, excellent wine. the staff was very friendly and helpful. owners open to suggestions (hopefully they can combine a day cashew cheese with the beautiful wee! lol.) have I mentioned the wee, wee, wee?
Delicious! had a glass of wine that waitress knew what she was talking about and when I told her what I was looking for, she hit it at the point! had the cajun shrimp, amazing! would they highly recommend!
I worked early and decided to have an early evening meal... heard about complexity and wanted to try. went in and was greeted by wendy. her face expression said everything we went in and she asked if I can help them, I looked at my partner and she told AGAIN...then she realized how rude she was and said oh for two we said yes, please...then she said that it was just sitting outside. we looked around and there 4 tables open as well as several sitting at the bar, but it was really nice outside so we said it was good. she continued to sit on the back behind a wall where we could not see anyone or anything and could not be seen by someone... then went another nice looking couple and sat in the tables that were not present. I didn't feel discriminated against anything else, whether I was dressed nicely or in my work shrubs...less to say, I asked about the manager and was told that she wasn't in...and when I asked her name, she didn't even want to tell me. my mind is because she knew what she was doing. I won't try this place, and if you don't want to dress and whondy is in her layer, I would suggest you stay away.
Great place! eating and crying were amazing. I recommend
I love this place. The food was well blend of ingredients and plentiful.

Love this place. Food is great and the alcohol selection is great. I like that their flights can be mixed. Great atmosphere and the service has always been excellent. This is one of my favorite places in the AV.
Now when i say this food was amazing, you have to take my word for it. I was with a party of 10 and literally everyone was raving about their dishes and desserts, omg, the lemon cake #drool. I got the sweet glazed salmon and crab cakes, omg #drool. I want to go back just writing this review. Definitely a gem and would recommend, have recommended this place. I had also got the Riesling, omg #bestivehad i will be back.
Food was pricey but good, all said and done I really enjoyed a date night with my wife there. The service was great and it always has a great atmosphere.
This is my favorite restaurant in the AV. Love their wine selection and the food. Sunday brunch is as delicious as their dinner menu. highly recommend.
Service is horrible here. Food takes an hour and everything is so salty, I want to complain but it will be another hour to wait again, I will never come back.

We visited Complexity Wine for the first time and had a wonderful experience! The wine selection was great, the ambiance was nice, and the service was good. We especially enjoyed the food, especially the lamb shroom dish. We will definitely return.
Nice environment. Soft Jazz musician playing. Good volume level. Not overbearing. Wine is very drinkable. Food is above average. Service/attention is always good. A very enjoyable time!
This is the perfect place to savor a wonderful glass of wine, delicious cuisine, and engaging conversation.
The service and food at Complexity Wine are outstanding in every aspect!

The only reason this restaurant, if that’s what they call themselves, gets a star is because they have a decent wine list at a reasonable price. Otherwise, our experience tonight was absolutely miserable. A group of healthcare professionals booked a table to celebrate a milestone achievement for one of the programs at the nearby hospital. We ordered two bottles of quite expensive wine worth about $500. Never mind that they didn’t have our first choice; it happens. Then, after quite a long wait, the appetizers came. I have never seen a bruschetta served as pieces of cheap, mushy bread toast separate from the toppings, which came in a salad bowl. It was pretty much a “make your own bruschetta,” and it tasted disgusting. The olives and cheese plate were tasteless. We shrugged it off and ordered the main entrees. Five of us ordered the same main course. After at least 20 more minutes, the waitress returned to inform us that “unfortunately, the dish we had ordered is not available.” By that time, one of us, who had ordered an appetizer as an entree, left without being served because she got tired of waiting. We were quite shocked by the casual, nonchalant attitude, but as we were very hungry, we went with alternative choices, all of which arrived overcooked. Another waiter bringing the dishes had no idea who was ordering what and just threw the plates on the table. Worst of all, there was zero remorse or apology from the staff or the manager, and of course, the check had arrived in full, including the 18% “big party tip.” I won’t even go into minor details, such as the absolutely horrendous French onion soup, forgetting sugar, water, and wine glasses, etc. I don’t know if this establishment has management (no one came to talk to us), but if so, you should be ashamed of how you treated us tonight. Your staff’s attitude was ridiculous, and they obviously take no pride whatsoever in what they do. We paid in full and left. If any of you guys happen to be at the nearby hospital (God forbid), please do come see us. We will teach you what “taking good care of people” is all about, from A to Z. Shame on you for ruining our evening.
This is a wonderful place. The food is top notch for sure. I've eaten most of the menu and rarely been even a little disappointed. Im not even a fan of wine but their sangria is amazing. Service: Dine in Meal type: Brunch Price per person: $100+
Got their Thanksgiving dinner order...it was fantastic! Thank you Complexity Wine! Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner

I'm not usually a wine enthusiast, but the food selection here is exceptional. They put a unique twist on classic dishes, like their Cali Grilled Cheese, which features three kinds of cheese, avocado slices, and bacon. The fresh salads, creamy mac and cheese, fantastic flatbread pizzas, and charcuterie boards — loaded with an impressive variety of cheeses, nuts, crackers, and meats — are all standout options. They also have the capacity to accommodate larger groups, and the service has consistently been excellent.
I've been wanting to visit this place for ages because of their outstanding reputation, and they truly lived up to it! I can't wait to come back soon and make it a regular spot.

This is the kind of place that makes you feel like you’re somewhere else. Everything about it is amazing. My husband and I always entrust the servers to give recommendations on wine. We love to get the charcuterie boards and usually pair it with soupand dessert. We love to pick out one or two cheeses and let our server decide the rest. We haven’t had many of their meals, sometimes we get appetizers, the crab cakes were perfectly cooked on our last visit. I also really enjoy their tiramisu, it’sa huge piece so we’ll share half and bring the other half home. My husband loves the French onion soup, and I love the lobsterbisque. They often do events like special meals with wine pairings, and they usually have live music on the weekends. If youmake a reservation note that you could end up inside or outside. This isn’t really a spot for large groups, it takes away fromthe experience, I wouldn’t come here with more than 4 or 6people (even 6 seems like a lot for this establishment). If youdon’t have a reservation, sitting at the bar is always a great experience.
Very nice decor. Friendly staff and knowledgeable in their wines. Woo ok me was good and burgers were ok. Nothing fancy just Lack-aster
Don't let the name fool you, as Complexity Wine offers much more than just wine! Recommended to me by the local hotel (for which we received a discount! , I discovered not only a fabulous wine selection, but also a delightful menu designed tocomplement any vintage you prefer. The staff was attentive and extremely knowledgeable in their wine offerings. The atmospherewas perfect for a quiet evening with old friends. (The owners also can also arrange tours of local vineyards, should you beinterested! . A great experience!

Vegan options are rare in the AV, so it’s always a treat when new spots open or existing ones add vegan dishes. Complexity Wine is a wine and cheese lounge with several vegetarian choices and cheese tasting options. I assumed I’d have to settle for a simple house green salad until I found two clearly marked new vegan entrees. I tried the jackfruit and quinoa tacos, and they were fantastic. For a non-vegan restaurant, the flavor exceeded my expectations. I was genuinely impressed and will definitely return. The atmosphere is inviting, the wines are excellent, and the staff is friendly and attentive. The owner is open to suggestions—hopefully, one day they’ll add cashew cheeses to complement their wonderful wines! Oh, and did I mention the amazing wine selection?
