This review pertains solely to the restaurant during dinner. A truly wonderful experience. Lovely setting. Original and excellent cuisine. Exceptional presentation of the dishes. Incredible desserts. One can only admire the effort put into it. The only slight drawback was the somewhat rushed service (clearly in an effort to be perfect) when one would have preferred to take one's time during such a meal. An establishment I highly recommend.
Excellent restaurant, the cuisine is very creative and the pastries are exceptional, beautifully presented, a wonderful discovery on the road. We highly recommend it. Top-notch.
We were invited to the Restaurant des Sapins in Lanarce, Ardèche. It's a small village I've known since childhood. This restaurant (which also has a hotel) is a real find! Worthy of a Michelin-starred establishment. A gastronomic experience that will delight you. The €51 menu is a feast for the palate, the eyes, and the eyes... A bit pricey, you might say! But at the end of the meal, you'll say it was well worth it. Small portions that won't leave room for anything else. It all starts with the aperitif and its accompanying notes—wow! An amuse-bouche is served before the starter, and your eyes will widen like a child's, it's so... wow! Your starter is a delightful trompe-l'œil, a true delight for the palate. The main course for us was a duo of meltingly tender meats, and once again, let your taste buds rejoice. A small pre-dessert that will surprise you with both the beauty of the presentation and the surprising taste of its decoration... and the desserts... No words can adequately describe the spectacle that will unfold before your eyes. But if you think it's over, think again! You can enjoy a coffee: Ethiopian for me, which was smooth and excellent, and Colombian for my husband, which was equally delicious. And a surprise awaits you with a miniature pastry that is the highlight of the show. For cheese lovers, or those who enjoy fresh cheese, you'll need to add a few euros to your bill, but from what I saw, it's well worth the price. The wine was excellent; let the owner guide you—she'll be happy to advise you. The service is perfect, and the rolls are very good. The products are locally sourced. Everything is made in-house; they have imagination, expertise, and frankly, you wouldn't suspect that in this small village known for its charcuterie, there's such a delicious restaurant worthy of the finest gastronomic establishments. For our son's 18th birthday, he was spoiled rotten; he was over the moon. I highly recommend this place. I will return with undisguised pleasure. Kudos to the owners, a family of true gourmets who combine passion and delicious flavors. I'm not including any photos because it would spoil the surprise; I'll let you discover it for yourselves.
We were at the restaurant today. Everything is perfect at this place. Too far to go more often. It's pure bliss.
A flawless gastronomic and panoramic experience! A wonderful family birthday meal at Restaurant Les Sapins. The setting is enchanting with its elegant dining room and panoramic views of the forest. Bravo to the chef for his memorable trout with crayfish flambéed in cognac and to the chef for her exquisite Ardèche Escapade. Everything is homemade, showcasing local products with rare finesse. From the amuse-bouche to the coffee, the presentation is a true work of art. Professional service and a warm welcome. An exceptional address in the Ardèche that we highly recommend!
