Bread and olives as a nibble (the olives were superb) Fried baby squid to start, a generous helping and very tasty, ideal to share. We then had a lobster rice dish for two, again very tasty, and like the starter was served piping hot. A couple of beers and house wines and excellent service left us feeling that with the beautiful view, it was worth visiting again. Slightly pricey, but still very good.
All said with the header above! Everything was fresh and very tasty. Service is friedly and childrens are welcome. I recommend to book a table especially on weekends!
This place used to be the local fish market, and still sells fresh fish and shell fish. So the emphasis is very much on sea food. We went there for dinner, and was greeted with a complimentary glass of cava each and a dish of delicious prawns in their shells. For a starter I had sliced octopus, but couldn’t resist four of the local oysters caught just across the bay. A steal at only 2€ each. For my main course I had local eel cooked in a Catalan sauce, it was quite sensational. My wife had the turbot which again was fresh and beautifully printed. With a bottle of local rose wine from the Terra Alta region, which was a fruity, but dry, and the perfect accomplice to for the seafood, and dessert of creme de Catalan, the bill came to a modest 90€ with a tip. We also had a cold beer there the following day, enjoying great views across the delta, they were giving everyone, a free dish if mussels to go with their drinks. The service was very good, attentive and friendly. It would be difficult to fault this place
